How To Select The Right Computer For You

How To Select The Right Computer For You

Oh gosh, I could go on and on about computers, but I guess i'll take it as simple as I can for you. Computers are a major part of peoples lives today, and some even live off of their computers. By that I mean they run a home business. There are many choices to pick from, but you probably don't want to spend thousands on a computer you only use for Microsoft Excel right?

If you run a business, unless it's business in rendering graphics, you are probably only going to need a small computer. Nothing too fancy, just something with a lot of hard drive space. You could always get one of those clickfree external hard drives. They can store around 200 GB.

If you are a gamer, sucks to be you because you are going to have to spend a lot of money. You are going to wants 8 Gigabytes (GB) of Random Access Memory (RAM), 2.8 Gigahertz (GHZ) CPU/Processor or up, a graphics card with a good rating, and lots of hard drive. You probably will not find this in a laptop, unless you spend over 1000 dollars. You may find this in a desktop for 500 and up.

If you travel a lot and write articles or run a business, a laptop or notebook will be for you. These are lightweight and easy to get. They can be costly though if you run a graphics rendering business though because you will need the same thing as a gaming computer. Just don't get anything with less than 2GB RAM, and make sure its got a decent sized hard drive.

If you are really pressed for cash and want to start a blog or something, you could get a netbook. Netbooks are cheap, but they are slow. They can not be used for anything other than reading articles or writing articles because they are so slow.
